Sensational barometrical highlights in Jupiter’s northern side of the equator are caught in this view from NASA’s Juno rocket. The new point of view demonstrates twirling mists that encompass a round component inside a fly stream area called “Fly N6.”
This shading improved picture was taken at 9:20 a.m. PST on Feb. 12, 2019 (12:20 p.m. EST), as the rocket played out its eighteenth close flyby of the gas mammoth planet. At the time, Juno was around 8,000 miles (13,000 kilometers) from the planet’s cloud tops, over a scope of roughly 55 degrees north.
Subject researcher Kevin M. Gill made this picture utilizing information from the rocket’s JunoCam imager. The picture has been pivoted roughly 100 degrees to one side.
